Environmental communication and narratives affect the ways in which we think about and act against climate change. The conference proposed gathers some experts who will help young students and researchers become aware of the ecological “footprint” and “mindprint” of their work, as well as of the importance of media as drivers of environmental problems and solutions.

- SESSION I
CHAIR PROF. MASSIMILIANO MAZZANTI
Massimiliano Mazzanti is a full Professor of economic policy at the University of Ferrara. His research areas include, amongst others, applied environmental economics, climate change policies, environmental innovation, and environmental policy design and assessment.
PROF. PAOLA SPINOZZI - THEATRE AS AN ECOLOGICAL CLASSROOM
Paola Spinozzi is a full professor of English Literature, Vice-Rector for the internationalization of Teaching and Research, and coordinator of the Ph.D. programme Environmental Sustainability and Wellbeing at the University of Ferrara.
PROF. ANTONIO LOPEZ - ECOMEDIA LITERACY
Antonio Lopez is an Associate Professor of Communications and Media Studies at John Cabot University. He is a specialist in media literacy education with a focus on ecomedia literacy, integrating ecology into media education.

CHAIR PROF. GIORGIO BERTORELLE
Giorgio Bertorelle is an associate professor in genetics and a population geneticist. Amongst his interests, there is the evolution and conservation of several species, patterns of genomic variation, and biodiversity loss prevention to foster environmentally sustainable development.
PROF. MASSIMO BERNARDI - MUSEUM AS AN ANTHROPOCENTRIC SITE
Massimo Bernardi is Head of Research and Collections department at the museo delle scienze (muse, Trento) with a focus on mass extinction in the past, preservation, and enhancement of paleontological heritage and cultural heritage, and the concept of Anthropocene. He is currently working on narratives, perceptions, and factual data regarding the great ecosystem crises such as extinctions in the geological past and in the present, exploring synergies between conservation paleobiology, the philosophy of the Anthropocene, and science communication.
DR. RICCARDO PARIGI - INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTAL COMMUNICATION & EN-ROADS ACTIVITY
Riccardo Parigi is an environmental strategic communication consultant, stakeholder relations, negotiator and crisis manager in the industrial sector. He is a trainer in communication, safety, environment, negotiation and problem solving.
