Research infrastructures:

Cell culture facility fully equipped; Rotary Cell Culture System (RCCS bioreactor, SyntheconTM,) with HARV (High Aspect Ratio Vessel) technology; X3 Hypoxia Hood and Culture Combo–BioSpherix; Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting centre (BD FACSAria II cell sorter, 4-colour BD FACSCalibur Analyzer, Beckman Coulter Epics XL MCL, AutoMACS); Facilities for immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence in paraffin embedded samples. Molecular Biology facilities, for nucleic acid extraction and quantity testing (NanoDrop-Thermoscientific, GEL DOC XR System-Biorad). A PCR lab including Real-Time PCR instruments

 

Prerequisites of the trainee researcher:

Level of education: PhD
