The Language Center is a University Research Center dedicated to promoting language teaching and learning.

Promoting and developing multilingualism among University of Ferrara students;
Teaching modern languages, including Italian as a second language, to strengthen the university's European identity and foster internationalization and cultural exchange;
Language certifications (Oxford Test of English);
Encouraging and developing self-learning;
Research and development of digital tools;
Research in Applied Linguistics, Digital Humanities, LSP, and inclusive language;
The Language Center actively opposes racism, xenophobia, and all forms of discrimination.
