Short description of the research team

Thematic fields of interest/research areas: thin magnetic films production with dc-magnetron sputtering; study and characterization of nanopatterned magnetic samples; investigation of spin-dependent conductivity and exchange-bias interactions in nanostructured/nanopatterned materials; study of spin dynamics in magnonic crystals using analytical and numerical methods (dynamical matrix method).

Research infrastructures: dc-magnetron sputtering apparatus; Digital Nanoscope III AFM/MFM; SQUID magnetometer with RSO option; apparatus for room temperature/low temperature magnetoresistance measurements; MOKE apparatus for room temperature/low temperature measurements; Mössbauer spectrometer; DSC & TGA calorimeters; Computer Servers.

 

Prerequisites of the trainee researcher:

Level of education: “Marie Curie Individual Fellowship” Action requirements
Research experience: experience in the field of production and/or characterization of magnetic nanostructures or experience in the field of theoretical investigation of magnetic nanostructures
Required working language: Italian or English
