The center uses its own laboratory, both for clinical and research activities. Equipment available, in addition to the basic one of a clinical research laboratory, consists, among other things, in:

- instrumentation for processing and preservation of biological samples

- instrumentation for the preparation and maintenance of cell cultures

- instrumentation for isolation, processing and storage of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA)

- instrumentation for the separation and study of the different serum lipoproteins, for example Lipoprint

- The clinical research laboratory has instruments for in vivo research, for example for the study of the body composition (Tetrapolar BIA impedance)
