Virtual Journey Weeks: United in Diversity
What if you could discover Europe without leaving home?
From October to November 2026, the COLOURS European University Alliance invites students and staff to discover the nine universities that make up the Alliance through a series of online activities, cultural discoveries and live events.
Travel virtually across France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Croatia, North Macedonia, Poland, Sweden and Latvia. Discover languages, traditions, music, food, student life and everyday experiences from across Europe — and meet the people who make each university unique.
No travel required. No previous knowledge needed. Just curiosity and an openness to discovering something new.
Start your journey in October 26th
Before the live events, explore a collection of resources from across the Alliance, including videos, cultural discoveries, language activities and more.
The resources will be available from October 26th on COLOURS YouTube channel and can be explored at your own place.
Join the live programme in November
From 4 to 25 November, each COLOURS partner university will host a live event.
Take part in language tasters, culture corners, quizzes, language cafés and live meetings. Discover a new university, hear languages from across Europe and connect with students and colleagues from other COLOURS countries.

Take part in the COLOURS Student Creative Contest
How do you interpret the European motto “United in Diversity”?
Create and share your own interpretation through one of the contest categories and take part in a creative celebration of European diversity.
Start: October 12th
End: November 12th

The winning projects will be presented at the annual COLOURS convention in Ferrara from 1 to 3 December 2026
