Are you ready to step out of the lecture theatre and tackle real-world challenges? We are delighted to announce an upcoming challenge-based workshop at the University of Ferrara, Tourism Without Borders: Inclusive Marketing & Communication for Ferrara City. Taking place from 4–6 November 2026 in the antique, medieval city of Ferrara, Italy.
Designed in partnership with InFerrara and the Municipality of Ferrara, students will move beyond standard theory. A key highlight of the programme is learning how to implement Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) directly into marketing and communication, a major priority and highly sought-after skill across global corporates today. Led by Léa Niang, an esteemed expert from Le Mans University in France.
You will also learn how to stretch your brain’s creative boundaries to unlock maximum innovation. Once your ideas are flowing, you will switch to the analytical and logical side of your brain to evaluate and select the best solutions using the Imagine Design Thinking, a framework widely used by top companies to drive strategic innovation.

Brief Programme Overview
- Day 1: Introduction to the COLOURS Imagine Design Method, inclusive communication principles with Léa Niang, and an afternoon Treasure Hunt around the Ferrara city centre.
- Day 2: Intensive Group Work in the form of an exciting Hackathon.
- Day 3: Presentation of group pitches and direct feedback from our expert panel.
