Training objectives

This Integrated Course follows a training course that has the general objective of making the student aware of the methodological bases inherent in the university training course in the health sector.

METHODOLOGY FOR CONTINUOUS FORMATION IN THE HEALTH SERVICE
The course offers to analyze the role of permanent formation in health services and to apply techniques of analysis of formation needs. A critical analysis of formation programmes in the healthcare setting. Knowledge the evaluation models of permanent formation in the healthcare setting.

The main goal of the course consists in providing to the students general information about the design and organization of a degree program on the basis of existing laws and current regulations.
Knowledge and Understanding - specific learning of the following topics:
- educational organization of a course of study: the skills and the scientific areas;
- the ratio of annual and cyclical review, the annual card;
- The Presidium of Quality, the Evaluation Team and the Joint Commission.
Applying knowledge and understanding -
ability to evaluate the organization of the course of study and institutions for its accreditation. In particular:
- assessment the basic knowledge of the organization of a study program;
- evaluation of the knowledge of assessment bodies and accreditation;
- the role of students in the mechanism of the evaluation.
Making judgments - ability to interpret and evaluate the teaching organization of the course of study. Communication skills and learning ability -
appropriate use of specific language and the ability to communicate and gather information through the creation of documents such as the teacher training and the study plan. Using tools of multimedia studio as texts and access to information online.

TRAINING IN ACCREDITATION AND EVALUATION IN HEALTHCARE
The main objectives of the course are to provide students with the theoretical and practical elements for the implementation and development of quality management systems in the health sector with particular regard to institutional accreditation and the area of training processes.

METHODOLOGY FOR CONTINUOUS FORMATION IN THE HEALTH SERVICE
- Types of hospital trust formation: entrance formation. Scientific-technical formation. Functional, methodological, historical/philosophical formation.
- Formation Process in Hospital Trusts-PAF (hospital formation plan) and the Formation Portfolio: personnel management tool. Types of hospital formation: internal, external, attendance: skills of departmental formation referent.
- Analysis of formation needs. Main theories and methodologies of application. Conceptual definition: stages of the process. Origin of users. Field analysis.
Planning of formation event.
- How to plan formation events: choice of content, methodology, technical-organization aspects,
- Evaluation as a process. The Kirkpatrick model. Other models for the evaluation of hospital formation: audit and BSC.

The course forecast is based on frontal lectures where the following topics will be illustrated:
- Detailed analysis of the degree course under consideration by the evaluation of the basic disciplines
-Analysis of the degree course under examination by the
evaluation of planning and organization in healthcare
- Boards and commissions related to the teaching evaluation and accreditation
- Evaluation of the annual and cyclic review report and annual card on the self-evaluation on the degree course under consideration.

Learning assessment procedures

METHODOLOGY FOR CONTINUOUS FORMATION IN THE HEALTH SERVICE:
oral and written examination of a project work for the formation process in hospital with plenary discussion. The acquired knowledge, learning and visual display quality will be evaluated.
TRAINING IN ACCREDITATION AND EVALUATION IN HEALTHCARE
The exam is based on 15 multiple choice questions with four answers each; the question is worth two points if correct, wrong answer or no answer 0 points. To pass this test it is required to get at least 18 points. The time allowed for this test is 45 minutes.
PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION OF A DEGREE IN HEALTHCARE
The aim of the exam is to verify at which level the learning objectives previously described have been acquired by the preparation of a project work.
THE FINAL GRADE IS A ARITHMETIC AVERAGE OF THE MARKS OBTAINED IN EACH TEST.
