Training objectives
- The course aims to examine the educational role of the professional nurse through the analysis of the educational method and its application to persons / families / healthy communities through the development of a health education project.
Starting from the nursing process and nursing diagnosis for the student will be able to identify the need for education, define educational objectives and evaluation criteria, describe the interventions and evaluation indicators. Prerequisites
- Basic concepts of the nursing process, nursing diagnosis, determinants of health, lifestyle.
Course programme
- The determinants of health, 2010. The concept of health education / health WHO. The concept of therapeutic education. Tthe method of health education. Health education project.
Didactic methods
- PBL methodology. Teamwork. Elaboration of a project
Learning assessment procedures
- The exam involves the preparation of a draft health promotion addressed to the community or to the individual with respect to the issues of smoking, physical activity and proper nutrition. The project must comply with all the methodological stages of the educational method and contemplate the construction of educational and evaluation tools. Also are evaluated the accuracy of the content and integration with other disciplines.
