GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY
Acquire the ability to
- Describe the historical path that led to the development of psychological disciplines in their
emergence as a science
- Describe the main research methods in psychology and identify the most appropriate method for
the experimental hypothesis
- Describe the process of perception, identifying the multisensory and cognitive components that
determine it;
- Recognize and describe the main cognitive functions underlying interaction with the environment
and with others
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
The knowledge of main issues related to the psychological aspects of the different kinds of diseases in clinical contexts.
The acquisition of communicative and emotional skills in the relationship with the patient.
COLLABORATIVE HEALTH CARE RELATIONS
Know and apply basic and advanced relational knowledge in the Care Relationship, behavioral styles and techniques by applying the principles of nursing, counseling and helping relationship theory.
Use Nursing Diagnoses according to the bifocal model (Carpenito) and the NANDA taxonomy in the alteration of the following Gordon models:
• Perception of himself,
• Self-concept
• Role and relationship between coping and stress tolerance…
TRANSCULTURAL NURSING
Students are expected to achieve the following goals:
- Identify the reasons for trends, developments and the importance of transcultural nursing to establish and improve the care of different cultures in the world;
- Know the major historical developments and leaders who have formed the field of transcultural nursing;
- Apply the main concepts and principles of transcultural nursing to assess the needs of clients and families and to guide transcultural nursing practices.

Learning assessment procedures

GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY
The exam consists of a written test with 31 multiple choice questions. The duration of the exam is 30 minutes (0 points for each no answer, + 1 for each correct answer; minimum score 18).
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
Test with 5 open questions, maximum 6 points each
Allotted time: 1 hour.
COLLABORATIVE HEALTH CARE RELATIONS
The objective of the examination is to verify the level of achievement of the training objectives previously indicated. The exam is written and
consists of 15 questions on the course topics (multiple choice, true / false); to overcome the test you must acquire at least 9/15. The expected time for the test is 30 min.
TRANSCULTURAL NURSING
Written examination: short open-ended questionnaire on the main contents that emerged during the course.
The correctness of the contents and the ability to integrate with other disciplines are evaluated.
