Training objectives
- Health as common's analysis. Knowledge of health determinants (biological and social). Use for theories and methods for an individual and community health promotion. Review of possibilities to operate as health promoter. Practical examples analysis and role-playing on concrete situations. How the gender factor influences the medicine.
Prerequisites
- Interest in health matter. The attendance of the Health Sociology Course is adviced.
Competence reading English language is favourite. Course programme
- The health as individual and communitarian heritage.The Health Determinants Theory (gender, age, ethnic, etc,). Authors, theories and models for health promotion (the Antonovsky salutogenic model, etc.).Health inequities. The 'New public health'.The health impact assessment. The Health Community Agent or Health Promoter.The development of the "gender" concept as determinant of health factor. Gender violence as public health matter.Gender Medicine.Examples concerning men and women health and illness.
Didactic methods

Learning assessment procedures
- Written exam that means three answers (each realizes an autonomus score),valuated by a grade point average. If the student is'nt satisfied of own grade, should change by an integrative written (partial) exam, or by an oral test.
