Training objectives

• Students will reach a level of Spanish equivalent to level A2/A2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference.
• Students will acquire and develop communicative competencies in the Spanish Language, enabling them to understand texts relating to the world of work and to formulate sentences using accurate grammar and lexis.

Prerequisites

• A knowledge of Spanish equivalent to level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference is recommended.

Course programme

• Review of grammatical structures required at level A1 / A2 and consolidation and analysis of the indicative and subjunctive tenses to express cause and consequence, time, purpose, opinions, recommendations, uncertainty and probability.
• Basic vocabulary relating to business and the working world.

Didactic methods

• The lessons will be held in person
• Day and time of lessons: Fridays from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm

The lessons will be interactive and will be held in Spanish, with use of the Entorno laboral textbook and practice of listening, reading and writing skills. Work will be done on the comprehension of simple business texts and short written production using the chat function on the platform. The teacher will guide students through the programme making use of presentation visuals, practice activities and a glossary.

Learning assessment procedures

• Exams may be carried out either remotely (Moodle Platform) or in presence depending on the regulatory and/or epidemiological context.
• Written final exam for a total of 31 items, including a short reading comprehension exercise and questions testing the grammar and specific vocabulary taught during the course.
• Each question is worth one mark and any unanswered questions will be counted as zero points in exactly the same way as questions that are answered incorrectly.
• The final score in trentesimi is calculated by adding together the number of correct responses.
