The site of the National Network of European Documentation Centres, hosted on the server of the University of Sassari, offers information on community documentation, as well as on the activities, meetings and projects undertaken by Italian EDCs.
EUROPE DIRECT
The Europe Direct information network, which also includes EDCs, offers practical information on several topics (e.g. how to get your qualifications recognized or how to complain about unsafe products), the details of useful bodies which may need to be contacted and suggestions for solving practical problems when exercising your rights in Europe.
ENTERPRISE EUROPE NETWORK
The new European business support network has been operating since 2008 with the aim of bringing together the services supporting European business competition and innovation previously offered by the "Euro Info Centre (EIC)" and the "Innovation Relay Centre (IRC)". The new network offers a unique help portal particularly for small and medium-sized businesses to develop their full potential and innovative capacity. In Italy, the network is composed of 58 information points with 5 Consortiums.
YOUR EUROPE - CONSULTANCY
A European-wide service providing citizens with information and practical advice on problems associated with mobility within the EU and the internal market. Legal experts working in all the official languages of the EU will answer questions within a week. Experts provide clarification on the applicable regulations, point you towards the body best equipped to resolve your problem and advise on how to assert your rights and obtain redress. The service is completely free and can be contacted by phone (toll-free EUROPE DIRECT number 00800 67 89 10 11) or by sending a message to the experts. The service is provided under the supervision of the Directorate General for the Internal Market.
THE EUROPEAN UNION IN FERRARA
THE OFFICE FOR INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY AND OVERSEAS STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF FERRARA
This office has all the information needed to study or train abroad; in Europe (through the Erasmus programme) as well as the United States or Australia. Examinations taken in other universities, if previously agreed, are recognized by our University.
EURODESK LOCAL POINT
The Italian Eurodesk network, with 60 points located throughout Italy, gives information and guidance on the opportunities offered by the EU to young people (in particular in the fields of culture, training, mobility, rights and voluntary work). Eurodesk acts in collaboration with the 'International Youth Mobility Office(Informagiovani) of the City of Ferrara.
ANTENNA EUROPE DIRECT OF THE CITY OF FERRARA
The antenna was born in 2010 with a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Ferrara and the Legislative Assembly of the Emilia-Romagna Region, to form a collaboration for the organisation and implementation of local initiatives aimed at raising the awareness of civil society in general, and of young people in particular, as regards the future of Europe, European citizenship and respect for human rights.

EUROPEAN COMMISSION - Representation in Italy
The European Commission has a network of Delegations within the most important international organizations and in over 110 countries outside the Union, and of Representations in the capital cities of the Member States. The Representations ensure a constant relationship between the European Executive, national and local public institutions and the general public, and guarantee information and communication for the citizens of Europe.
EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT -Information office in Italy
The European Parliament has established Offices in all the capital cities of the Member States of the European Union, in order to facilitate and render more direct the contacts between the citizens and their elected Assembly. Based in Rome and inaugurated on 1 September 1967 and with an Antenna in Milan, founded in December 1998, the Italian Office of the European Parliament has the function of organising information campaigns, handling relations with the national media and representing the European Parliament within the Italian Institutions.
SOLVIT
SOLVIT is a network within which EU Member States work together to resolve the problems arising from the incorrect application of internal market rules by public authorities. There is a SOLVIT centre in every Member State of the European Union (as well as in Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein) which can intervene to resolve problems presented by both citizens and businesses. SOLVIT centres are part of the national administration and are committed to providing concrete solutions within 10 weeks of the case being presented. SOLVIT is a free service. Although its management is the responsibility of the Member States, it is the European Commission that provides the infrastructure and, if necessary, offers assistance to accelerate the solution of the problems.
