Thermal phenomena and rheology in the injection molding process. CAE modeling of the process. Examples. Innovative processes (co-molding, overmoulding, surface treatments.).

Didactic methods

Lectures in the classroom in person.
The topics of the course are presented through a power point presentation. The theoretical parts of the course are always followed by applications to specific case studies.

Learning assessment procedures

The exam aims to verify the level of achievement of the training objectives of the course.
In particular, the exam consists in the drafting of a project whose operational and drafting details will be illustrated during the course itself.
