Training objectives
- The Course wants to give an appropriate methodological and historical preparation. In order to be able to use different kinds of sources (literary and documentary), that are the most important way to understand the Antiquity.
Prerequisites
- Nobody.
Course programme
- - The Course, of 12 CFU, is composed by three principal moments:
- the first part (2 CFU) has to transmit the foundamental methodological knowledges essential for starting approaching with Roman History's sources;
- the second part (6 CFU) is about Roman History, focused on principal events, from Rome foundation to the end of the Occidental Roman Empire;
- the third (4 CFU) analyzes Roman provinces. Didactic methods
- Teaching method: lectures.

- Oral examination.
