- The course provides basic information about environmental and technical, european and national laws and rules for application in the world of professional geology.

- The course include 48 hours of teaching.
INTRODUCTION (2 h) basic information of laws and applications
PROFESSIONAL CODE (2 H) professional code, competence and responsibility.
GEOLOGICAL LAWS (6 h) environmental, seismic and technical rules
NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL AND TECHNICAL RISKS (22 h) the laws about management of soil and versant consolidation, water and hydraulic resources, extraction activities, discharges, landscape, environmental impact
GEOLOGY IN TERRITORIAL USE (8 h) rules about territorial use management
GEOLOGY AND GEOTECHNICAL LAWS IN PLANNING (8 h) technical and laboratory regulations, public works and safety rules Didactic methods
- Frontal lectures and on-line tutoring.
Learning assessment procedures
- Oral examination to verify if the student is able to write a report on geological theme with particular regard to laws.
