Training objectives

Training on safety in the workplace is a discipline required by law for the protection of students who have in their training workshop activities.
The main objective of the course is to provide students with the essential information regarding safety in the workplace, both generally and in relation to specific risks, before tackling practical workshop activities.
The student acquires knowledge:
- main regulations regarding safety in the workplace
- roles and responsibilities of those involved in security
- risk factors and the compilation of the DVR
- provision of safety and DPI
- Health surveillance
- Emergency management
- Workplace's risks
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING:
The student will be able to participate in educational laboratory activities implementing major behavior required by safety regulations and good practices in use.


Prerequisites

Basic civics knowledge.

Course programme

-FIRST STEP (About 4 hours e-learning) the student will address the issues of general education on safety in the workplace, as well as provided by law: Article 37, paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree 81/08 and Agreements State Regions 12/2011 and 07/2016
In particular it will know in detail the concepts of risk, harm, prevention and its behavior to adopt in order to protect their safety and health and that of their colleagues.
-SECOND STEP (About 4 hours e-learning) the student will address the special risks to laboratory activities under the training course: for example chemical risk, VDT risk, work equipment, waste management etc.

Didactic methods

The course consists of 8 hours of e-learning.
The learning platform UNIFESICURA delivers the content as indicated in the State-Regions Agreements of 2011, 2016 and smi

Learning assessment procedures

Written test with multiple choice questions at the end of the course, in Unifesicura Platform.
Students must download two certificate, equivalent to 8 hours of training (low risk) in accordance with art. 37 of Legislative Decree no. 81/2008 and Agreements State / Regions 12/2011 and 07/2016.
