Training objectives

Acquire skills related to the planning , conduction and management of the physical activity in the different ages of the life. Preventive aspect of physical activity: promotion and prevention primary and secondary. The practical part of the course aims to provide general skills needed to deal with the planning and teaching of sitting of physical activity suited to individuals at different ages.

Knowledge of anatomy, biochemistry and physiology of exercise

Course programme

THEORETICAL COURSE:
physical activity as a means of promoting health in all ages. Analysis of conceptual differences in planning physical activity in childhood or adult and elderly. Auxology: the growing body. Physiological changes of energy metabolism in the course of life. The modifications, in relation to the practice of physical activity, bone apparatus, muscles and tendons, the cardiovascular, respiratory and CNS and PNS at different ages. The main functional changes at different ages. The programming of the physical activity at different ages. How to preserve and develop the physical fitness in physiological aging.
PRACTICAL COURSE:
The course is divided into two teaching units: one for children and adolescents and one for the adult and elderly age. They will provide lessons held in the gym where students, after a listening phase, becomes the investigator. Each lesson includes a section devoted to the technique of motor activity and a part for teaching them. Students are divided into groups in order to optimize the student-teacher relationship.

Learning assessment procedures

Written exam
The exam consists of three sections: one for the theoretical part, a practical part relating to the developmental age and one concerning the practice of adult / elderly. Each section has 2 questions with open response and 1 multiple choice question. The examination has a duration of 90 minutes . For the calculation of the rating each section has 10 points for the maximum sum of 30 points.
