Training objectives
- To get basic knowledge for the recognition and understanding of the main psychiatric disorders and analysis of psychopathology in sport.
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge in psychology and sport psychology
Course programme
- Description of the main psychiatric disorders according to the most recent classification systems (DSM, ICD). Causes, phenomenology and clincal aspects of psychiatric disorders according to the biopsychosocial model. General principles of treatment with particular emphais on physical exercise in psychiatric disorders.

Learning assessment procedures
- Written exam consisting in 5 open questions on the topics presented during the course. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The scoring will be based on the correct and clear-cut answers to the open questions.
