Training objectives
- The course aims to make the student able to:
- recognise the conceptual elements that connect medicine to narrativity
- be familiar with models and instruments of a qualitative nature
- recognise and define the meaning, structure and suggestions/metaphors of narrations
- use the traditional approach (bio-medical) and the narrative approach in a complete way
- cooperate with the patient, their relatives and other figures involved in order to improve the care relationship Prerequisites

Medical Humanities
Narrative thought (definition, characteristics, function)
Narrativity in clinical practice
Qualitative research methods in medicine
Presentations of some experiences Didactic methods
- Face-to-face lessons, group work. Lectures

- Structured written test, closed questions and open-ended questions (both during the course and final test)
