Training objectives

The aim of the training experience is to allow the student will carry out educational training activities as an integral part of their studies. The internship aims to provide students with the opportunity to play a meaningful experience from the training point of view, consolidating the expertise under the profile.
The objectives of competence and interpersonal skills, technical and scientific are sought through the application of the methodology for projects that will also evolve in the thesis.
In particular, it intends to provide learning experiences in health and social and health services in relation to the roles of:
- management expert of nursing and midwifery systems;
- design expert, implementation and evaluation of educational processes, both in the basic training of nursing and midwifery in the permanent;
- nursing expert and assisting midwife;
- nursing research expert, midwife in clinical, organizational and pedagogical.
AREA TRAINING: the objectives are to design, needs analysis, training evaluation, tutorship in continuing training projects, training and organizational learning.
UNIVERSITY TRAINING AREA (welfare area, master, master classes) with goals of teaching activities, tutoring in the operational context, assessment of pathways, clinical and preclinical experience design student, core competencies.
AREA HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT with the objectives of: assessment of resources, personnel evaluation systems, integration of new employees, integration and cooperation processes, climate and employee satisfaction .
PROGRAMMING AND ORGANIZATION AREA HEALTH AND WELFARE with organizational management objectives, organizational assistance models, organizational processes, management control and budget, quality system and accreditation, health planning.
AREA CLINIC FOR CLINICAL SKILLS ADVANCED with the "best practices of project objectives", analysis of team skills and specific skills, decision making processes, implementation of innovative models
AREA OF RESEARCH with the objectives of collaboration in the construction of a research project, in a multicenter study, participation in the research team.
The training procedure should be activated preferably with accommodation facilities with the School of Medicine, University of Ferrara or on the basis of a special agreement limited to a particular scientific interest structures, organizational and educational.

The student must have passed the 1st year training successfully

Course programme

The internship experience is preceded by a personal encounter and previously agreed with the internship professor in order to identify the location, timing and the reference tutor. Field training includes conducting a stage presence in the areas proposed in the training objectives.
The training project will end with a final paper that will be discussed by the student in the examination. The final report is the document that describes the implemented curriculum. It contains the initial project and the activities carried out during the internship and the views of the experience performed. In this paper we will present in-depth thematic choice, the activities carried out and to which the student participated, methodologies and tools used, the entertained organizational relationships and the results obtained.
FOR ALL STUDENTS:
Preparation of a workshop addressed to the students of three-year degrees. The topic and the methodology of carrying out will be agreed with the tutor reference teacher appointed by the Director of Educational Activities. The tutor will provide the evaluation of the work done by the student.
On the website of the course of study in the "Internship" section the student can download the forms required for the activation of the presence internship, the modules for the frequency and "internship guide" where are explained the learning objectives of each area of responsibility identified .
The student can obtain the opinion executive board of the company tutor and project sheet.

Didactic methods

Individual tutorial meetings with the Director of the educational activities for the internship planning in times, locations and related learning objectives.
Debriefing with the tutor for the writing of the project and the analysis of the project phases.

Learning assessment procedures

In the exam sessions the teacher of the training certifies the level of learning achieved. In case of the negative overall evaluation path, this will have to be repeated in whole or in part.
The assessment is expressed in thirtieth and on the basis of the following criteria:
-the opinion of the stage manager tutor;
- the opinion of the tutor of the course in relation to the preparation of the teaching seminar;
- the level of projects achieved in the experience of internship;
- the quality of the final reports, in terms of the ability to transfer and apply their theoretical models, reflection and experience reworking, clarity, logical organization, and timely delivery;
- exposure of the internship report (systematic exposition, synthesis capacity, quality of the slides on schedule), and ability to support the contradictory.
