Training objectives
- To let the student know, in all its forms , the clinical problem "pain" starting from the basic principles of pathophysiology, from the clinical classification, from the scales of evaluation of its intensity, from its treatment with a focus on pain therapy. This is the issue of legislation (legge 38 e Ospedale Territorio senza dolore) and its application in healthcare companies, in order to stimulate and focus the learning of basic topics which will be then the subject of better knowledge in the clinical field
Prerequisites
- Adequate knowledge of anatomy biochemistry, physiology and physiopathology , clinical methodology,pharmacology and basic elements of general psychology, epidemiology

Chronic pain and Acute postoperative pain
Analgesic drug and treatment of acute and chronic pain
