Training objectives
- Knowledge and development of effective communication skills in the Doctor-Patient Relationship, with the study of basic mechanisms within the relationship and of the construction of the therapeutic alliance
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of communication and of doctor-patient relationship
Course programme
- The Personality of doctor and patient. The seven pillars of doctor-patient relationship: Active Listening, empathy, gentleness, sincerity, Efficacy, Competency. Patient's and Doctor's Agenda. Trust and therapeutic alliance

- Lectures, interactive discussion in open seminars and clinical examplifications

- Oral exam, on three questions concerning different features of doctor-patient relationship
