Training objectives
- After the knowledge of general dermatology the aim is to recognize and to treat pediatric dermatological lesions
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of general dermatology
Course programme
- The course has the aim to recognize dermatologiacal diseases appeared at birth, infancy or later. These are typical of infancy or have peculiar aspect respects adults. Subjects: bacterial, viral, micotic infections, alopecia, hemangiomas, atopic dermatitis etc. When significant, gender differences will be reported.
Didactic methods
- Formal teaching/on line on moodle platform. Slides presentation.
Learning assessment procedures
- Oral examination , 10-15 minutes of time. 1-2 questions will be asked with an eventual comment of the pictures presented. It will be evaluated the capability to recognize and to describe the typical aspects of the pediatric dermatological diseases and eventually to analyze the differences with the adult ones. The exam is passed with the minimum vote of 18/30.
