Nursing care for people of all ages with priority health problems in the medical, specialist medical and surgical fields in the hospital and residential context
. Basic nursing techniques.
- postures and handling techniques
- partial and total hygienic care
- dressing and undressing (person with drip or with hemiplegia)
- busy bed making
- hand washing (social and antiseptic)
- use of personal protective equipment ( universal precautions )
- use of frying pan / commode / retort
- urine collection - urine sample (chemical-physical-cultural examination )
- bladder catheterization in men and women
-application of external devices (condom)
- stool sample (chemical-physical-cultural examination and
- research occult blood)
- evacuating enema / pear / microenema
- manual emptying
- sputum sample (chemical-physical-cultural examination)
- measurement and recording of vital parameters (tc- fr- pa- fc- pulse oximetry)
- LDD dressing

- Station exam
1st station: skills-lab assessment with checklist to evaluate the technical competence acquired with an average duration of 20'-30 '(before placement in the internship)
2nd station: internship evaluation of the skills acquired in the field expressed by the internship guide through a specific evaluation form. This evaluation contributes, with the evaluation of the second semester internship , to the definition of the internship average grade which accounts for 80% of the verbalization mark of the internship itself. 3rd station: starting from a clinical case, the student must develop a care plan in writing.
