MODULE I
The main objective is to train educators who are able to plan educational actions and rehabilitation projects with respect to the main mental disorders both in the age of development and in adulthood. Deepening of etiology and intervention in the case of autism spectrum disorders.
MODULE II
At the end of the course students will have a knowledge of the steps of a research design build from practice and of the ethical implications of this. They will develop a competence on transforming a practice problem into a research question.

MODULE I

MODULE I
The course includes an in-depth study of the main methods of investigation and intervention in the area of clinical psychology. In particular, topics related to investigation methods (observation, interview, test), developmental disorders such as mental retardation, generalized developmental disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, psychoses and neuroses and related techniques will be discussed. intervention. During the course clinical cases will be presented with respect to the different disorders treated through videos and other documentation as an example for possible methods of intervention.
MODULE II
This course aims at preparing students to innovative practices in education. It will particularly address the issue of creating new methods and techniques from developing practice research. Practice research is a line of research which has developed within the social professions and consists of practitioners transforming practice problems in research questions with the goal of finding new ways for addressing old social problems or identifying ways to address emerging issues in society. This line of research consists of integrating practices to a heuristic paradigm. Ethical issues are central to this approach.

Learning assessment procedures

MODULE I
Written exam with closed questions and an open question. Each question is worth one point if the answer is correct, wrong answer 0 points, answer skipped 0 points. The student must choose the correct answer among 3 possible alternative answers. For the open question, there are about 20 lines to answer and the capacity for expository clarity is evaluated. The exam lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
MODULE II
The exam consists of an essay and an interview.
THE FINAL GRADE IS A WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF THE MARKS OBTAINED IN EACH OF THE TESTS.
