Nutrition of the preterm infant. Nutritional requirement and support in specific pediatric disease. Knowledge of eating disorders and obesity.

Purpose of the course is to provide the basis of surgical anatomy, the surgical pathophysiology and of gros pathology that are the basis of diseases of surgical relevance. The principal surgical diseases will be prefaced starting from the anatomy, passing by the case history.

GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS
Caloric need in pregnancy. Modification of woman weight during pregnancy. Need of the macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins and lipids) and micronutrients (oligoelements and vitamins) in pregnancy. Most common conditions in pregnancy requiring nutritional intervention (constipation, hyperemesis, excessive increase or decrease of woman weight). Infection pathologies of nutritional interest (toxoplasmosis, listeriosis). Modifications of the fat and lean body mass during climacteric. Caloric and nutritional needs in the peri and post-menopausal woman. Role of the nutrition in the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis and gynecological tumors. Impact of phytoestrogens on woman health.

METHODOLOGY OF FOOD EDUCATION AND THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION
The lectures will be delivered with distance learning (video lessons and / or streaming) with integration in the presence, where the epidemiological conditions linked to the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection allow it.
Focus groups will also be carried out in presence and also in streaming mode for the benefit of students who are unable to participate in teaching or curricular activities in presence and furthermore these activities will be modulated according to the epidemiological conditions linked to the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection.

Learning assessment procedures

PEDIATRICS
Oral examination with 2-3 questions lasting about 30 minutes; the knowledge of the topics, the interdisciplinary connections and the language skills will be evaluated. To pass this test it is required to get at least 18 points out of 30.
GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS
Oral exam: on average 3 questions (you evaluate the clearness, the ability to connection, rigor and communication skills).
DIETOTHERAPY IN MEDICAL-SURGICAL EMERGENCIES
Oral exam lasting 10-15 minutes, with 2-3 questions average on the whole program, considering in addition to knowledge of the subject, the ability to connection and the properties of language. To pass the test it is required to get at least 18 points out of 30.
DIETOTHERAPY IN INTENSIVE CARE
The aim of the examination is to test the level of knowledge related to the reported program. During the oral examination, lasting 30 minutes, will evaluate the knowledge of the main clinical features (in particular will be considered important pathophysiological, clinical, diagnostic). It will also be evaluated in-depth capability of the topics covered in the lectures. The qualitative evaluation will take into account the clarity and precision. To pass the exam you need to acquire a minimum of 18 out of 33 score.
METHODOLOGY OF FOOD EDUCATION AND THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION
The learning tests will be carried out in the presence orally, where the epidemiological conditions related to the transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection allow it.
THE FINAL GRADE IS A WEIGHTED AVERAGE OF THE MARKS OBTAINED IN EACH TESTS.
