Training objectives

In-depth knowledge of a special topic in European early modern history.
Ability to connect the past and the present and to understand the dynamics of social and political change grounded on the study of a key-moment in European history

None.

Course programme

Seventeenth-century Spain: heyday and decline of an imperial power.

Didactic methods

Lectures: 30 hours, with weekly verifications in classes.
Lectures may be followed online provided that the student has enrolled the free Se@ service (information care of the service), and are recorded for hearing in streaming and/or for further hearing anytime.

Learning assessment procedures

Written examinations: students are required to answer three questions on the subject of the lectures.
