Training objectives

AIMS:

TRANSVERSAL SKILLS: Building a knowledge that helps us to understand the educational dynamics in order to develop proposals, programs and formative projects for early childhood school, for social volunteering, for international cooperation.
KNOWLEDGE: To this end, we will not neglect to provide the lexical coordinates and the epistemological framework of the discipline, in order to critically orientate oneself in a theoretical-praxic sense within the proposed thematic horizon. In this course, we will learn about the cognitive and, more generally, educational role of emotions, sensitivity, spirituality, aesthetics ..., hence of all that mental world which, traditionally, is conceived as separate from logic.
SKILLS: The course aims to build - together with the students - a highly specialized skill, regarding the capability for educational intervention, starting from the application of the most innovative methods, through the comparison between different cultures, epistemologies and cognitive approaches. We will learn to set up educational environments in the contexts of cultural difference and in contact with early childhood.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of pedagogical vocabulary.

Course programme

CONTENTS:

Didactic methods

METHODS:
If the number of students in the classroom allows it, discussions and debates will be proposed around the most actual topics envisaged in the program.
With an hermeneutic method, the salient passages of the texts provided for the exam will be analyzed and commented on. By hermeneutic method we mean the ability to critically interpret the topics presented and analyzed. The methodological approach is qualitative, that is, the meaning and context relationships between the phenomena studied will be identified
