Training objectives

The aim of the course is to improve the knowledge of medieval philosophy analysing a specific topic and reading direclty the texts.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of medieval philosophy

Course programme

Virtues in medieval ethics

Didactic methods

The course will focus on the direct reading of the texts with the active participation of the students.

Learning assessment procedures

The oral examination (3-4 questions about the content of the course) will be preceded by a written paper on a subject chosen by the student among those treated in the course
