Training objectives

The Course aims to give Students an adequate knowledge of the importance of the Epigraphy of Renaissance, which takes up the great Latin epigraphic tradition, as an important source to better know the Renaissance Civilization.

Prerequisites

Nobody.

Course programme

The Course, of 6 CFU in total, is divided into three main moments:
- the first part (1 CFU) focuses on Latin epigraphy and its relevance to the Renaissance epigraphic tradition;
- the second part (4 CFU) aims to deepen the epigraphy of Renaissance, also in the light of epigraphic texts of the Court of Estensi;
- the third part (1 CFU) aims to highlight the importance of the Renaissance epigraphic tradition for the knowledge of the Renaissance Civilization.

Didactic methods

Lessons will be in presence.

Learning assessment procedures

Oral examination.
It consists of an adequate number of questions with adequate answers adequate to evaluate the Candidate's preparation based on the proposed program.
