Training objectives
- EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
The educational goal is to teach an understanding of the eventual relationships between sources and images, of their chronological and stylistic ambient and the capacity to describe and identify subjects through a correct use of the methodology. Prerequisites

- I.
Visual images and communication.
The interpretation of images: iconography and iconology.
Images as historical sources.
II.
The survival of classical antiquity in advertising. Didactic methods
- TEACHING METHODS
1. Frontal lessons.
2. Reading of texts.
3. Analysis and interpretation of images. Learning assessment procedures
- FINAL TEST
The final test will consist of an oral exam which will assess the knowledge and understanding of the subjects discussed during the course and of the reference texts. Critical skills and the ability to discuss the problems will be assessed, and the examinees must demonstrate that they have acquired a method for the correct interpretation of the images.
