Training objectives

• Students will reach a level of Spanish equivalent to level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference.
• Students will gain basic communicative competencies (grammar; functions; practical language and discourse) in the Spanish language and acquire writing speaking and comprehension skills.

Prerequisites

• No minimum level required but it is recommended that students have basic knowledge of the Spanish language

Grammatical structures and vocabulary topics required at levels A1 and A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference.

possessive, demonstrative and indefinite pronouns
simple relative pronouns
the indicative, the imperative, the future, the conditional, the present perfect and imperfect tenses
pronominal verbs

describing physical characteristics and personality
asking for information
exchanging opinions
personal preferences and tastes
expressions regarding movement and time
commenting on and making judgements about past experiences
habitual actions in the past
talking about future actions
basic business vocabulary

Didactic methods

• Classes will be in presence
• Day and time of lessons: Wednesdays from 2:00 pm to 4:00/4:30 pm

The lessons will be interactive and will be held in Spanish, with use of the Sueña 1 textbook and practice of listening, reading and writing skills. Work will be done on the comprehension of simple texts and short written production using hte chat function on the platform. Presentation and explanation of new grammatical structures and lexis will be consolidated by paractice and review activities.

Learning assessment procedures

• Exams may be carried out either remotely (Moodle Platform) or in presence depending on the regulatory and/or epidemiological context.

• Written final exam consisting of a total of 31 questions of various types (multiple choice etc) relating to the grammar and vocabulary at A1 and A2 level covered during the course.
• Each question is worth one mark and any unanswered questions will be counted as zero points in exactly the same way as questions that are answered incorrectly.

• The final score in trentesimi is calculated by adding together the number of correct responses.
