Training objectives
- The student can recognise and use familiar words and simple phrases for concrete purposes. He/she can introduce herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows, and things he/she has. He/she can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). He/she can ask and answer basic questions about home, family, surroundings, etc. He/she can communicate in a basic way when the other person speaks slowly and clearly, and is ready to repeat or reformulate to help communication.

- None.
Course programme
- The course will cover the contents of the manual used during the semester. It will deepen spelling, phonetical, morphological, syntactical and lexical aspects of French language.
Didactic methods
- The lessons of the mother-tongue teachers will deepen the reading and understanding of texts, writing, oral comprehension and expression.
Learning assessment procedures
- The final exam consists of a written test of grammatical investigation through transformation exercises, replacement, completion.
