Training objectives
- ASSESSMENT: The course aims to deepen the concept of adaptive vs non-adaptive psycho-affective and relational functioning and the evolution of the various forms of psychopathological suffering over time, through a review of empirical studies in the literature.
It is also proposed to investigate some tools to evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions implemented in mental health services aimed at both developmental age and adulthood with references to detainees and in REMS.
The interventions are to be understood in the various types: pharmacological, psychotherapeutic, rehabilitation-functional, social rehabilitation.
At the end of the course, students will acquire interest and ability to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
PLANNING AND TEAM WORK: a) The student will be able to recognize and explain1 the competences of the different professional profiles that
revolve around the person suffering from mental disorder, to suffer from the roles that make up the multi-professional team of the Mental Health Services.
b. The student will be able to recognize and explain the elements that favor team work or hinder it, in the process of caring for the person suffering from mental disorder, starting from the knowledge of transversal skills.
c. The student will be able to explain the phases and elements of a multi-professional planning in the care context, starting from the description of a care planning.
CASE MANAGEMENT:Case management in psychiatry and rehabilitation. Management of the psychiatric patient organization and management of the rehabilitation setting.
SOCIAL-HEALTH INTEGRATION
• Acquire the main national and regional legislative references on the subject of socio-health integration.
• Know the network of social and health services, the characteristics, the actors involved, the activation / functioning methods, the programming and the operational tools.
• Learn the different figures for the protection of frail people: Interdiction, Disability and Support Administrator.

Dal Pozzo: Acquisition of knowledge in the field of clinical risk, knowing how to recognize, manage and promptly record sentinel events, knowing the tools of clinical risk.
Silveri: Acquire knowledge on cognitive and functional impairment in severe mental disorders as well as on the main Cognitive Remedy interventions currently present. Acquire basic practical skills in conducting some of the main CR interventions.
Zara:
• Acquire the main psychiatric rehabilitation tools: the motivation for change, the interview and the operator / user relationship, the home visit.
• Learn the intervention methods of the psychiatric rehabilitation technician with respect to the Home and Work Axis.
• Understand the role of the Third Sector in working with psychiatric users and the methods of integration.
• Know the areas of expertise of the psychiatric rehabilitation technician and the fields of integration with other health professions. Prerequisites
- ASSESSMENT: Knowledge of the characteristics of some diagnostic groups which constitute the most common cases in mental health services relating to developmental age and adulthood.
PLANNING AND TEAM WORK: knowledge of the contents of the "Communication and Relationship" teaching programs - 1st year of the Degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Technique.
CASE MANAGEMENT: Origins of case management. Approach to the psychiatric patient. Knowledge of the compilation of a rehabilitative therapeutic project. Recovery oriented recovery interventions.

Development of multiaxial assessment: symptom axis, re-acquisition axis of social skills, perception axis of family load, adherence / satisfaction axis of the intervention implemented, etc.

• National / local socio-health planning: tools, actors, funding. Specifically: national social plan, regional health and social plan, area plans, fund for non self-sufficiency, authorization for the operation and accreditation of services.

- ASSESSMENT: oral exam consisting of n. 5 questions related to the course contents. Average time required per student 20 - 30 min; the evaluation criteria are related to clarity, precision, practical application capacity, technical rigor.
Cornacchia: written exam in person / online (test with multiple choice and open questions, maximum time required 30-45 minutes).
PLANNING AND TEAM WORK: construction, in itinere, of individual and / or group papers on behalf of the teacher.
CASE MANAGEMENT: The exam consists of the administration of a multiple choice questionnaire with 20 answers (time 1 hour) and the compilation of a term paper concerning the organization and management of a clinical case.
SOCIAL-HEALTH INTEGRATION: online exam. Test with multiple choice questions. Maximum time required 30 minutes.
