Training objectives

The course analyses the concept of Public Administration and it’s managerial evolution in literature and in the legislation. Besides, the course offer student an insight of the most up-to-date evolution of public service governance and delivery. Their planning, management, control and evaluation system will be analysed with a particular focus on accounting tools.
At the end of the course students will be able to know the main tools of planning and controlling systems of Public Perfomances and to understand the structure and contents of harmonized financial reports.
Students will be also able to apply the main methodologies of planning and control in the public sector context as well as analyses of the principal accounting documents.

Prerequisites

The course requires a basic knowledge related to Business Administration and Accounting.

2) The planning, management, control and evaluation model of PA;
3) The PLANNING;
4) The MANAGEMENT and the ACCOUNTING;
5) The BALANCE SHEET;
6) The CONTROL;
7) The EVALUATION;
8) The ACCOUNTABILITY and TRANSPARENCY.

Learning assessment procedures

The aim of the examination is to verify the achievement of learning objectives.

The written exam is divided into two parts: the first one is a multiple choice quiz, the second part is formed of a open-ended questions and some exercises. Exercises and contents are explained during the lectures.

The exam will be an oral one in the same days defined for the written exams if the health emergency will continue.

The final mark is the sum of different parts scores. It is necessary to gain 18/30 to pass the test.
