Faculty of Medicine and Surgery
The educational reform of 1999 resulted in great changes within the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.With the institution of specialist degrees and new three-year degree classes, new-style professionals conforming to very specific abilities are appearing alongside the traditional figure of the doctor. The training courses offered by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery are therefore extremely varied.Medicine and Surgery, Orthodontics and Dental Prosthesis, Motor Science, Biotechnology and Sanitary Professions Degrees. Furthermore the Faculty offers more than 30 post-graduate Specialisation Schools in Medicine.They are all characterised by a high degree of specialisation and professionalism and diversified according to field of study, duration, tasks and with specifically different work prospects.
