Apply diagnostic reasoning in the planning of obstetric
1. Identify the need for physical help, psychological and social conditions of women in the various stages of life and respond to them in the context of multi-professional action .
2. Organize your tasks , providing technical , correct and effective performance , adapting them to be assisted in relation to different diseases , different operating sectors and at different ages .
3. To promote effective educational relationships for the therapeutic education
SEMINAR Neonatal Resuscitation
The course is aimed at the specific neonatal resuscitation techniques in relation to international guidelines in force and implementation of teamwork . the procedures necessary for optimal resuscitation management discusses the infant is in the delivery room than outside of it .
It also discusses the ethical aspects of neonatal resuscitation
LABORATORY Technical analgesic unconventional childbirth
The laboratory allows students to acquire theoretical knowledge and updates in terms of experienced and the role of the midwife assisting childbirth through non-pharmacological pain reduction techniques .
To acquire manual skills , techniques , practices on therapeutic positions for labor and delivery .
Analysis of scientific evidence
To acquire manual skills , techniques , practices in terms of positions for labor and birth in water and obstetric care the use of voice during labor .
To improve relations and communication skills in the field of water and assistance relational intimacy

Prerequisites

Course programme

TRAINING
The student is covered by the guide and training, in active collaboration , organization involved in activities is provided in the evaluation forms shared in the Teacher microsite .
She collaborates with the training guide in the path of obstetric care to the person in the pre- and postoperative (day surgery and gynecology).
She collaborates with the internship in assistance to healthy and pathological newborn guide ( Nido and Neonatal Intensive Therapy ) in the path of pathology and physiology of pregnancy , promotion and care of breastfeeding
SEMINAR Neonatal Resuscitation
Introduction and principles of intensive care (primary and secondary apnea)
Physiological changes that occur at birth
preparation of the necessary material assistance neonatal
Initial stages of resuscitation : maintaining thermal homeostasis , airway patency ,
Use of the device for the mask ventilation (autoinsufflante ball, T - piece), laryngeal mask airway, endotracheal intubation (outline), thoracic compression

Learning assessment procedures

TRAINING
At the end of each internship experience the student receives from the internship guide an evaluation of merit on the results achieved , documented through evaluation board .
At the end of each academic year a certification service evaluation of thirty is performed to determine the levels reached by the student .
The final exam consists of taking vision of the training path of the student and integrated with an oral interview conducted by the Educational Activities Coordinator and vocational and educational tutors .
The vote cast is 30/30
SEMINAR Neonatal Resuscitation practice theory test is made on the management of complex scenarios demonstration of manual skills in Delivery Room through the use of mannequins , high-fidelity .
It evaluates the theoretical preparation through 2 questions during the technical practice test and evaluate a student's ability to apply the resuscitation sequence in the scenario proposed by the Teacher
LABORATORY
analgesic unconventional techniques to test simulated childbirth technical practice for acupressure techniques and evaluation of assigned group work .
The rating is expressed in 30/30
The evaluation of this test contributes to the formulation of the final grade.
