The European documentation centre

The European Documentation Centre (CDE) of Unife, born in 1952, governed by an agreement between our University and the European Commission, is part of the international network of Europe Direct Information and member of the Network of Italian CDE

Purpose:

Making Community documentation available and disseminating  information on EU policies and the opportunities offered to citizens; promoting  teaching and research in the field of European integration and the study of EU matters; participating in the debate on the European Union in synergy with the other points of the Community data network.

The European Documentation Centre (CDE) of Unife is part of the international network of Europe Direct Information and member of the Network of Italian CDE

Services offered by the Library: not only consultation and loan of documents produced by the European Union, but also of books and magazines published by other publishers on Community topics; access, both free and driven, to the online and CD-ROM supported Community databases; reference and search for both specific documents, even from a distance; interlibrary loan and document delivery; free supply of publications and materials produced by the EU (maps, brochures, posters, DVDs, CD-ROMs, etc..).

Activity:

Teaching and training: organization of conventions, conferences and seminars on EU issues and training on EU databases.
