The Technopole of Ferrara is the complex of industrial research laboratories and technological transfer in which factories can find competent research. This represents an important step in bringing the world of research and innovation closer to that of production.

The Technopole of Ferrara is the complex of industrial research laboratories and technological transfer in which even the smallest of factories can find competent research and try out new production techniques, more efficient materials and innovative products.
This represents an important step in bringing the world of research and innovation closer to that of production, allowing factories to profit from cutting edge scientific equipment and the skills of highly qualified researchers who are constantly up-to-date in their field thanks to constant contact with the world of basic scientific research.

The Technopole of Ferrara is promoted by the University, the Municipality, the Province of Ferrara and the Region of Emilia Romagna and is sustained by the European Fund of Regional Development (POR FESR 2007-2013).  The Technopole’s laboratories are: LTTA  - bio-technologies applied to medicine; MechLav – the advanced mechanics laboratory; TekneHub – architectural and urban recovery and redevelopment and restoration of cultural assets; Terra&Acqua Tech – environment, water, land and habitats.
The laboratories of the Technopole of Ferrara are accredited by the High Technology Network of Emilia Romagna.
