Achieving a Circular Economy is a challenge of increasing importance for environment, businesses and consumers: innovators, policy-makers and regulators need to create a sinergy linking environmental and economic performances.

Against such background, this seminar aims to critically assess, in a Law&Economics policy oriented perspective:

  • ways of tackling planned obsolescence as disruptive phenomenon for both consumer rights and enviroment.
  • current policies for achieving a “Circular Economy”;

The seminar is linked to the INNO4SD network and the activities of the new UNIFE research centre CERCIS (Circular Economy, Innovation and SMEs).
