Kariological analysis of Acipenser naccarii (Bonaparte)

Diploid karyotype of the Adriatic sturgeon, A. naccarii, consists of 241±3 chromosomes, 88 of them being metacentric, 12 large and middle-sized acrocentric and 141 small acrcentric and microchromosomes. The number of chromosome arms NF = (329±4) ±3, were ±4 reflects the accuracy of metacentric chromosome identification and ±3 the accuracy of microchromosomes count.
